About EPCHE

East Point College of Higher Education (EPCHE) is a premier institution established in 1999 under the aegis of the M.G. Charitable Trust in Bangalore. Affiliated with Bengaluru North University (BNU) and approved by AICTE and Government of Karnataka. The College is located in the eastern part of Bangalore at Bidarahalli, Virgonagar Post, off old Madras Road. It is at a 5 km distance from K R Puram, Bangalore.

The College is affiliated to Bengaluru North University, Kolar. EPCHE delivers industry-aligned, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The College at present offers programs in Commerce, Management, Aviation Management, Computer Applications in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence leading to Bachelor’s Degree of BNU. The college also offers Two years PG programs - in Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications. The college serves a vibrant community of 1,800+ students, who study various programs with an adequate number of faculty members and 25% of them with Ph.D. Qualification. Faculty members, in addition to teaching and routine administrative work, undertake research too.

EPCHE focuses on holistic development, combining rigorous curriculum tracking with a strong foundation in technology, business acumen and social responsibility. It actively nurtures student life through leadership training, sports and community engagement initiatives. All the students of the final year undergo internships and projects in reputed industries, and more than 70% of the students are placed on campus in companies like GreytHR, Rinex Technologies, Capgemini Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Cloudthat Technologies, and so on. The departments offer various competency and skill development courses to prepare the students for the job market in addition to Industry Integrated Learning Programs (IILP) with CISCO, AWS, SalesForce, Google Cloud, ARM, UiPath, Microsoft, Texas Instrument, KPMG, JPMORGAN ICICI Bank.. A significant number of Alumni have assumed important positions in industry and government. A few alumni have set up their own start-ups in and around Bangalore and a considerable number of students have settled down overseas. The students actively participate in the Intra and intercollegiate cultural and sports activities organized by BNU and other colleges.

The College with a large number of classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, and a library with more than 50000 books is completely Wi-Fi enabled. In the laboratories, industry-standard software is made available for students to learn and practice and the college has subscribed to a large number of Commerce, Management and technical journals.

The backbone of EPCHE is its highly qualified, approachable faculty pool, which includes seasoned educators and PhD holders. To keep their modern and research-driven teaching methodologies, the college mandates its instructors actively participate in the broader academic developmental activities.

The college encourages faculty members to attend seminars, conferences organized by other Colleges and industries. Also, faculty members have been given the freedom to organize seminars, conferences, and faculty development programs. Every year at least ten seminars/conferences/FDPs are conducted. Adequate number of seminar halls is available within the college for organizing seminars, conferences, FDPs and other programmes. The College has entered into MoU with various industries.

Students have convenient transport, hygienic hostel and sports facilities. There are more than 15 students’ clubs for students to participate in various activities and experiences. A structured, proactive Training and Placement Cell facilitates career readiness and corporate on boarding. Graduating students are put through pre-placement training, resume building, and compulsory corporate internships.

The College has set an ambitious vision and it is working continuously to adapt newer concepts in teaching, learning, and student assessments to realize its vision through working on its mission. The College aims to increase the students’ satisfaction level with a holistic approach to education.
